WoodEye signs contract with Ecobirch Group

Ecobirch Group has installed a new WoodEye 5 in their EG-panel factory in Estonia.

Ecobirch Group is an Estonian strategic private capital owned concern that has 3 birch oriented sawmills and 1 modern EG-panel factory in Estonia. The new WoodEye 5 scanner will be placed in a exciting production line. "We are pleased that Ecobirch has chosen WoodEye 5 and we look forward to successful cooperation", says Thomas Hall, Area Sales Manager, Innovativ Vision AB. 
 
Ecobirch is specialized in Estonian birch, using timber from well managed and environmentally controlled forests. By using legally and well managed timber, producing quality products and accurate deliveries to our customers, we aim to be the first choice for our customers. Ecobirch are producing sawn timber, edged glued panels and components for the furniture industries. Main markets are UK, Scandinavia, Baltic States, Germany, France and Italy.

Batesville Casket Co., a Hillenbrand Inc. company and the largest manufacturer of caskets in the United States, has ordered two rip and one cross-cut scanner for the Vicksburg plant in Mississippi.

WoodEye North America signs contract with MASCO Cabinetry

Wood Eye North America is pleased to announce that MASCO Cabinetry, manufacturer of the KraftMaid®, Merillat®, QualityCabinets™ and DeNova™ brands, has selected WoodEye North America as supplier for a major automation project at its Sayre, Penn., facility. The scanner will be delivered in cooperation with Eagle Machinery of Sugarcreek, Ohio.
